New sprayers must be inspected after the first 5 years and then every 3 years to comply with legislation. It is the responsibility of the owner of the sprayer to ensure that this inspection is carried out on time and by an authorized inspection company. Consequences of missing a sprayer inspection. Failure to have an inspection on time can result in a hefty fine if inspected by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency and in cases of gross negligence or willful omission can result in imprisonment.
